Zambo Eagles Club to induct officers today

All is set for today’s (May 9) induction of officers of the Zamboanga City Central Eagles Club with National President Eagle Vic Avila as guest of honor and speaker at Park 88 in Pasonanca, this city.
Avila, who will fly from Manila to Zamboanga, is a retired military general and brother-in-law of the late Senator Raul Roco. He will deliver his message before a crowd of participants.
Councilor Jimmy Cabato said the group met the other night together with Councilors Elong Natividad, Noning Biel and Prof. Elbert âBongâ Atilano had already finalized the arrival of Avila and other activities to be undertaken on Saturday.Cabato said the expected participants will be coming from Dipolog, Pagadian, Aurora, Ozamis, Buug, Iligan and other cities and municipalities in Visayas and Mindanao.The Zamboanga City Central Eagles Club (ZCEC) formerly known as Eagles Club was organized in 1983 with Councilor Cabato as the chartered president together with the late General Fabian Ver, Roger Pangilinan.ZCEC is a socio-civic organization which is nationalin scope. Its present president is Henson Wee and active officers led by Jun Capistrano.The club is also conducting series of medical-dental outreach, feeding programs, hare-lip operation with members coming from the professional sectors that include city,barangay officials and businessmen in Zamboanga.
