Zamboangueños to join ‘Nationwide Rambulan’

Zamboangueño breeders and cockers will face their greatest challenge as they vowed to compete in the upcoming P30.250 million 9-Stag derby dubbed “Nationwide Rambulan” slated August 29 at the San Juan Coliseum, in Metro Manila.
Jun Pe of Alixandra Cockpit, Manny Dalipe, Kano Daniel, Boy Primallion and other popular breeders and cockers in this city are optimistic their prized cocks could match the skills of other breeders’ stags in other parts of the country.

Several years back, the combined team of Dalipe and Primallion capped the overall championship in the nationwide derby which brought fame and honor to this city with their white-color roosters popularly known as the â??Zamboanga White.â?The derby, being sponsored by Bong Pineda all over the country, will be divided into three parts, elimination (3-Stag), semi-finals (3-Stag) and Finals (3-Stag).The pot money is P11,000 and the minimum bet is P11,000 for participants from Manila and P5,500 for breeders from the province.The distribution of the prizes is as follows:  The champion (9 points) will receive P15 million, any 8 points P2 million, any 7 points (2.5 million, any 6 points P3.5 million, any 5 points P4.5 million, handler P1.5 million, gaffer P750,000 and the fastest kill on the finals will get P500,000.For more inquiries and reservations of cock houses please contact the following SJC office (02)7255369, Ariel 09178070667, Maricar 09178041691 and Precy 09175137664.
