‘Contratistas’ induct new officers tonight

A star-studded affair marks Los Contratistas de la Ciudad de Zamboanga (LCCZ) 9th Induction of officers and new members and Christmas Party at 6 o’clock tonight with Mayor Celso Lobregat as guest speaker.
Joining the city executive are Representatives Erbie Fabian and Beng Climaco who will give inspirational talk and induct the new set of officers respectively.
Mrs. Imelda Sator, the first woman to have been elected president in more than 30 years since the construction industry was organized here, succeeds Engr. Eduardo Catis, outgoing president.

Also to be inducted are Engr. Joselito S. Yanga – vice president; Dr. Romeo C. Tarranza – secretary; Engr. Reynaldo A. Quesada – treasurer; Engr. Benedicto B. Ramos II – auditor; Agustin L. Asumen Jr. – PIO and Engr. Jul N. Jahadin – business manager. The Board of Directors includes Engr. Eduardo A. Catis, Engr. Edmond T. Dimaano, Reynaldo R. Lim, Engr. Noel L. Loon, Raymond C. Go and Ms. Edorne Cadungog.Go, who is NACAP vice president for Mindanao and regional director, will introduce the guest speaker, while Ms. Faye Enriquez leads the singing of the national anthem, Yanga the opening remarks and Lim to introduce dignitaries and guests.Mrs. Sator will deliver her inaugural address after Engr. Catis his valedictory while Engr. Ramos the closing remark during the activity which has as its theme; â??Contratistas Siempre e Compañero del Progreso para Adelanta el Zamboanga.â?Sixteen construction firms will be inducted as new members that will bring to a total of 63 strong members of the organization.Valuable prizes will be raffled off during the fellowship that follows after the induction program.
